Rental terms

Submitting a list through this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. Stock is held while we review it, and the reservation is confirmed only when we say so in writing.

We need at least 2 days' notice. The price shown at the time you submit is the price recorded against your reservation; later price changes do not affect it.

No payment is taken through this website. We send a final quote and arrange payment directly.

Reservations are confirmed on receipt of the agreed deposit. The balance is due before or on collection unless we agree otherwise in writing.

The standard period is 3 days. Items are due back on the return date shown on your reservation.

Late returns may be charged at the daily rental rate, and we may charge for losses caused where a late return affects another booking.

Cleaning is included in the rental. Items must be returned dry and folded; damp textiles mildew in transit and will be charged as replacements.

Damage beyond normal use, and any item not returned, is charged at the damage fee or replacement value shown on the product page.

Wax, ink, scorch marks and tears cannot be laundered out and are charged at replacement value.

We do not offer delivery. Every reservation is collected in person from our warehouse and returned there.

Someone must be present to collect and sign for the order.

Cancellations more than 14 days before the pickup date are refunded in full less any deposit already applied to held stock.

Inside 14 days, deposits are non-refundable because the stock has been held out of other bookings.

Our liability is limited to the value of the rental. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from an event.

Items remain our property throughout and must not be sub-hired or taken outside the agreed venue.
